FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Can I use your recipe or photo on my website or blog?
A: Of course! But please provide a link back in your post to the original recipe on my site. I work very hard to create and photograph my posts on my website. Likewise, I always make my best effort to provide other bloggers with their due credit for any inspiration or information used in my posts.
Q: I followed your recipe, and the dish did not turn out.
A: First off, I am so sorry that it did not work out for you! I try my best to provide clear instructions for all of my recipes, and I have personally created my dishes, often many times to make sure that it is the best possible version for my readers to follow suit. Here are a few suggestions:
Did you follow the recipe exactly? If you substituted any ingredients, cooking methods, or the instructions, chances are I have not tried them in my recipe, or I would have mentioned them as possible substitutions in my post. For example, sometimes something as little as using fat free sour cream vs. regular sour cream can change the whole nature of a baked good, so I recommend following my recipes exactly because often I have already done the trial and error work for you!
I also realize that not everybody will like all the ingredients in my recipes, or may even be allergic and will have to substitute ingredients. If you choose to substitute anything, I cannot be responsible for the outcome of the recipe. I also will not condone any negative commentary because of the outcome in my comments section or on any other form of social media I am connected to. See below for more information. Instead, feel free to email me directly and we can work through the problem! I am happy to work with you on creating an allergen free or restricted diet-friendly version of my recipes.
Q: What is your comment policy?
A: I love hearing back from my readers, and I try my best to respond to each and every comment. This section is where my readers can interact with me and each other, and I gain valuable insight into you all! Feel free to respond to each other and be helpful. I do, however, reserve the right to remove any comments that I consider rude, offensive, inappropriate, or considered to be spam. This also applies to any forms of social media that I am connected to, such as Facebook, Pinterest, or Twitter.
